Nepgill Park is situated half way between the market town of Cockermouth and the seaport of Workington; just 4 miles in each direction. Both towns provide a wide selection of services and amenities including speciality and high-street shops, supermarkets, leisure centres and banks. Cinemas and theatres are also within easy reach.

The coastal towns of Whitehaven and Maryport are a mere 15 minute drive away. The Vale of Lorton and the lakeland town of Keswick are similarly close by. You can reach the lake shores of Derwentwater and Buttermere and find yourself surrounded in spectacular lakeland scenery within 20 minutes of leaving the Park.

Further afield Penrith and Carlisle also offer shops, amenities and cultural attractions. Travel east on the A66 for 35 miles and you reach the bustling market town of Penrith with onward connections to the M6 (J40) and A6. This historic town, with its attractive red sandstone buildings, serves as a gateway to the North Pennines and Eden Valley.

Travel north-east on the A595 for 30 miles and you arrive at the Border city of Carlisle, which provides easy access to the M6 (J43 and J44) and A69. Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site and the nearby Scottish towns of Gretna and Dumfries are within easy reach.
