Nepgill Park is governed by a set of site rules. These rules ensure the Park remains a peaceful and well-kept place to live. They can be viewed here on Allerdale Borough Council's website.


The Local Authority sets out standards governing the layout, provision of facilities and maintenance of Nepgill Park through our site licence. The Park is responsible for ensuring that the Site Licence Conditions are met by our residents and tenants.

The local X5 bus service is operated by Stagecoach and runs from Workington to Penrith passing local bus stops in Bridgefoot and travelling through Cockermouth and Keswick. The current timetable can be viewed here.


Launderette:

Open daily from 9am to 6pm. Tokens are available from the Park Office:
Large washing machine: £3 (will take double duvet)
Small washing machine: £2
Commercial tumble dryer: £1 (approx 15 mins drying time)

Milk Delivery:

Delivered early mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in glass pint bottles. Please contact David Taylor on 07756 169396 or at getmilk@ymail.com

Postal Service:

Mail delivered to your door, Monday to Saturday (approx 2pm). Our postman will also take your stamped post on request.

Refuse Collection:

Every Friday morning kerbside from outside your home. Please note that the refuse collectors will only empty bins that are placed kerbside and will not collect bins that are left next to your home.

Small black bin: every week for general household waste.
Large blue bin: every 4 weeks for paper and cardboard.
Small green bin: every 2 weeks for glass bottles, tins, plastic bottles and glass jars.
Large green bin: every 2 weeks for garden waste.

Replacement of damaged bins can be arranged by contacting Allerdale Borough Council on 0303 123 1702. A collection calendar is available on Allerdale's website.
